Wow it feels like old times
So apparently this controversy over the Jyllands-Posten isn't dying down. Apparently this newspaper commissioned and then printed some cartoons about Muhammed, which then angered various Muslim groups and the UN which then asked the Danish government to "take action". The Danes, like most non-medieval societies, value freedom of the press, so they have done nothing. This has resulted in death threats and the recent withdrawal of the Saudi ambassador to Denmark.
To the Saudis and anyone else who tries to bully the world into abandoning freedom of the press, I say: "Bring. It. On."
